Lake Toxaway
Located in the mountains of Western North Carolina,
Lake Toxaway is a 5,000 acre restricted community surrounded by the
Pisgah and Nantahala National Forests. Family owned and operated since
1960, it features a large private club with pool, an 18-hole, par 71
golf course, tennis club with 6 courts, and miles of hiking trails and
waterfalls.
With elevations from 3,015 to 4,700 feet and the
largest private recreational lake in the entire region (640 acres with
constant water level), Lake Toxaway is approximately three hours from
Charlotte, Atlanta, Columbia, and Knoxville.
